Is CBD legal?

Yes! The 2014 Farm Bill legalized hemp, which includes CBD derived from hemp. Since our CBD is derived from the hemp plant it is safe and legal.

Will CBD get me high?

No. If you want to stay away from THC, try our CBD isolate products. Keep in mind that full-spectrum CBD products do contain a very small amount of THC, but it's always less than 0.3% and is still completely legal. Remember the importance of finding the right serving size for you.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

It's very unlikely, however, it could. At NUTRASTATE, our isolate products should not show up on any drug test. Full Spectrum products contain very small traces of THC (under 0.3%), and unfortunately, some drug tests do not differentiate between cannabinoids. So it's important to talk to your doctor, employer, or drug screening lab to find out more before using any CBD products.

What are the benefits of CBD?

The benefits of CBD may include improvement of anxiety, pain, inflammation and arthritis, insomnia, diabetes, brain, and digestion. Representations regarding the efficacy and safety of NUTRASTATE have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure any disease.

How do I take CBD products?

Our CBD tinctures are consumed by placing drops under the tongue or between the cheek and gums. We recommend waiting at least 60 seconds after dropping to swallow because the CBD will reach your bloodstream quicker and you will notice the benefits sooner.

How much CBD should I take?

Taking the right serving size is key to experiencing the benefits of CBD. Serving size can vary from person to person because we are all different and deal with different things on different levels. When finding the right serving size for yourself, take into consideration your body weight, desired benefits, and the concentration of CBD. Let us help you with the math.

If you are using a CBD tincture that is a 30mL bottle, it will contain 30 drops (1 drop = 1mL). Let's say your tincture is 500mg - each drop will contain 17mg of CBD. And don't worry - at NUTRASTATE we make sure all of these numbers are listed on our labels.

Always start with the recommended serving size on the label, and add more or less as needed.

How do I know the CBD is working?

Everybody is different which means you have to find what works for you. If you aren't seeing any effects, try increasing the serving.

Do your CBD products contain THC?

Some do. Our isolate CBD products contain zero THC. Our full spectrum products contain all of the plant's compounds which does include very small traces of THC, but it is always less than 0.3% and completely legal.

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?

Both hemp and marijuana are species of cannabis. Hemp can grow as high as 20 feet with leaves bunched near the top of the stem. Hemp also contains 0.3% or less THC, with no psychoactive properties. Marijuana is a shorter plant resembling a bush. It does cause a "high" due to the THC levels being between 5-35%.

What is the difference between full spectrum CBD and CBD isolate?

Isolate CBD products contain only CBD. During the extraction process, the cannabidiol (CBD) is isolated from all of the other cannabinoids and components of hemp. Full Spectrum CBD products include all of the components of hemp: CBD, other cannabinoids, fatty acids, and THC (0.3% or less).
